About Rob Chapman
Rob has spent the last twenty years studying Druidry and Celtic Spirituality, recently becoming a Druid of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. He has also explored the application of Carl Roger's Person Centred Counselling philosophy within personal and spiritual development work, also qualifying with the BritishSchool of Yoga as a Meditation Teacher.. Over the last six years he has facilitated retreats, experiential camps and workshop weekends in England and over in Europe. As well as planning and running the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids Summer/ Winter Solstice rituals in Glastonbury and the summer workshops for two hundred people. He is currently learning the peruvian pachakuti Mesa Tradition under the guidance of Edie Stone, working on a synthesis of the peruvian shamanic techniques with his own native celtic spirituality. Since moving to the Welsh Borders with his Partner Wendy Rob has been one of the founders of the Earthworks Community. Through public celebration, discussion groups and other events that he has organised the community stretches over a large area of the united kingdom and is based upon the principles of respect, there are no right answers and that each of us has something of worth to contribute. Rob believes in the beauty of the individual, yet not to the exclusion of the community. Real transformation is something that stirs deep within and is something that we go through by ourselves, but when this is approached within a group or as part of a community the collective presence of a group spirit can act as a catalyst for the transformation. The group becomes the holding pot that allows us to freely express and explore, to heal and become.Rob is available for:
